Semi-deciduous up to 30m. Bark characteristicly lime- to yellow-green. Elephant feed on the young branches and leaves; giraffes feed on the leaves and seedpods. Very fast grower. Excellent and attractive tree for gardens and landscaping. Not frost and drought resistant.
